Coming from a fruit-farming background, Johan went to Stellenbosch University to study BSc, majoring in Horticulture and Agricultural Economics. After graduating, he joined Eurafruit in 2007. He helped to establish the company as the soft fruit leader in South Africa and the global market. Johan was also instrumental in establishing the first world-class berry nursery exclusively for Eurafruit’s group of growers. In 2017, he joined SIX33 Agri as shareholder and CEO to pursue his long-term vision of establishing a leading sustainable agricultural business that generates quality produce and financial returns. Johan brings a strategic approach to our dynamic team. He enjoys spending time with his family and friends and appreciates the great outdoors on the golf course or his mountain bike.
